What is a "Lotto" Trade
Lotto trades are option plays that use less capital and are lower probability trades that require a timely move to be very profitable. Not all our #Lotto trade alerts have a weekly expiration. Some may be a few weeks or months out, but we are willing to let it go to $0 for the potential of large financial gains! We never risk more than 1.5% of account total on a trade!
Protect Your Capital! lotto
Like most trades the goal when placing a lotto trade is to remove as much of "our" initial capital as possible from the trade and let it work! So, lets say we bought in at $1 and sold half at $2, we may move our stop to $1 on the other half to guarantee a profit and let the rest of the trade ride free. Various account management strategies can be used to reduce "Lotto" risk. This should not be your main vehicle to trading.
Manage "Your" Trade
When entering a #Lotto trade keep it small to avoid emotional stops. Scale out & trim near targets. Try to leave a runner for larger gains. Read Trading Methodology for tips on how we manage our trades. Learn to manage your downside risk and the upside will follow!
